
Over the Years
2011
In 2011, Sampoorna Swaraj Foundation (SSF) had started working on
developing the Sampoorna Panchayat software which would be a web portal to assist rural India in automating the workflow involved between the gram panchayats and the citizens.
2012
In March 2012, SSF submitted an application for Indo-US Sciences &
Technology endowment grant with Gooru Foundation USA as the partner.
In April 2012, SSF received Sampoorna implementation review for 5 Gram Panchayats in Davanagere.
In August 2012, there is a finalized agreement with OrNext Software
Technologies to develop Sampoorna Panchayat solution in OpenSource.
2013
Dr. Shankara Prasad, the Managing Director of SSF was recommended & invited to speak at the Panchayat Conference in New Delhi on April 23rd, 2013.
In June 2013, SSF submitted pre-application for the Bihar innovation award.
In August 2013, SSF entered IIMB Hackathon “24 hour public policy
Hackathon” & won 2nd prize.
In November 2013, after SSF was shortlisted for the Bihar Innovation award, NASSCOM Foundation invited SSF to apply for the NASSCOM Social Innovation honors.

2014
In January2014, SSF visited Gram Panchayats in Bihar & discussed
implementation of Sampoorna technology with CEO of Bihar Rural
Livelihood Mission.
In February 2014, SSF won the certificate of excellence from the Bihar
innovation forum in ICT domain.

In July 2014, SSF got an invitation from the Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India. The event called “Bank of
Ideas & Innovations” & would be launched on August 8th at
Vidyan Bhavan Delhi presided by Nitin Gadkari under the chairmanship of Abdul Kalam. The invitation to this launch was extended to the top winners of awards at the Bihar Innovation
Forum.
In August 2014, Ministry of Rural Development (MoRD)
recognised that the Sampoorna panchayat workflow
automation solution is an innovative idea and they suggested
that this solution should go through green channel of MoRD
so that all states in India should be able to implement the solution without going through procurement bureaucracy.

In December 2014, SSF was shortlisted as 1 of the top 3 finalists for the NASSCOM Social Innovation award.
2015
In March 2015, Dr. Shankara Prasad from SSF travelled to Afghanistan for the India-Afghanistan Innovation Fair when he was requested to be the leader of the Indian delegation which consisted of 12 innovators from India.

The panellists including chairman of Microsoft India, managing director Ernst & Young, vice-president of Accenture, director general of NEGP & I.T. minister of Estonia, along with Dr. Shankara Prasad on Times Now.


In October 2015, Udaya Vani, kannada newspaper, published a 4-page article about Sampoorna panchayat online panchayat system. This was publicised in a big way across Karnataka & more than 100 Gram Panchayat members and citizens approached, and enquired how they can implement this type of transparent panchayat system
in their village.
2016

In January 2016, SSF got an invitation to speak at NASSCOM foundation, CSR leadership conference, at Park Plaza hotel on 2nd Feb. In October 2016, Dr. Shankara Prasad from SSF was invited along with 20
Indians involved in public service & performed world governance expedition for 14 days & interacted with more than 25 different government
organisations in USA. Some of the interactions are: meeting Supreme Court Justice, attending session at Boston City Hall, discussions with Harvard Kennedy School of Govt, JPAL, CNN headquarters, etc

2017
In June 2017, SSF submitted a solution for good proposal on the invitation of NASSCOM foundation. Vodafone shortlisted SSF proposal for development
of a mobile app for Gram Panchayat workflow automation.
In July 2017, UP State Rural Livelihood Mission, Salman Haider, contacted SSF for implementation of Sampoorna solution. This was based on the Bihar
Innovation award.
In August 2017, Vision India Foundation contacted SSF & is interested in implementing panchayat portal in 10 Gram Panchayats in Gujarat.
2018
In June 2018, SSF was invited to make a presentation at the National
Conference of Rural Development which was held at KSRDPRU in Gadag.
SSF made a presentation on use of blockchain technology & liquid
democracy for bringing accountability & transparency in Gram Panchayat.
In September 2018, Action for India selected SSF as 1 of the top 100 social
entrepreneurs.
In November 2018, SSF initiated a new technology for Gram Panchayat
elected representatives’ training using Navigated Learning Technology
developed by Gooru Foundation, USA.

2019
In April 2019, SSF was invited to present a paper at the National Law Conference. Dr. Shankara Prasad presented a paper titled “Navigated Learning Technology for Transformative Constitutionalism.”
In September 2019, Dr. Shankara Prasad from SSF was invited as a panelist & presenter at the Social Innovation Summit organised by Centre for Social Impact & Philanthropy, New Delhi. Ravi Kunigal & Dr. Shankara Prasad
attends the summit, and made a presentation on the impact of NLT & workflow automation on capacity building of Gram Panchayats.
In October 2019, AFI India 2019 officially recognised SSF as a finalist for the AFI award. SSF was represented by Keshava Prasad at the awards ceremony
in Hyderabad. This recognition was for developing NLT technology for training Gram Panchayat elected representatives.
In November 2019, SSF submits a detailed application to USA-India Science & Technology endowment fund in collaboration with Gooru Foundation USA, requesting a total fund of Rs.1.9 crores (approximately $200,000
USD). The application was shortlisted for final evaluation.

2020
In November 2020 AesterQuanta along with Sampoorna Swaraj Foundation was shortlisted for a pilot program of Public Distribution System by the UK
government for the Frontier Technologies 2020 Livestreaming Program.

2021
In March 2021, SSF was selected for a 3 month pre-incubation program by NSRCEL Health Incubation Program. The launchpad consists of online
sessions, one on one session, networking and reviews that can help take startups to the next level by building more clarity and being customerfocused.
In May 2021, Sampoorna Swaraj Foundation won the UK Innovation Challenge Fund. Ours proposal was among the seven selected from more
than 600 applications around the world.
