To bridge the digital devide
We live in a time lead by technology and fuelled by
the internet. The villages of India lack behind in
these digital developments. Sampoorna Swaraj
Foundation (SSF) is working on bridging this gap
between rural and urban India by implementing
Information and Communication Technology so that our citizens in the villages will enjoy the same benefits as the citizens in the cities.
Educate our elected representatives in the
villages of India.
Today, we observe that our elected leaders in local
governments are not aware of their rights and
responsibilities. The elected representatives of Gram
Panchayats are the leaders for more than 6,00,000
villages across India. We can significantly improve the quality of management and development within the villages of India when we train our leaders to be
competent in their duties.
Empower villages through accountable and
transparent gram panchayats
In most of the democratic countries of the world, the Definition of Democracy is, “Government by the people, of the people and for the people”. However, in today’s India, the definition needs to be changed: “Government by the people’s representatives, of the people’s representatives and for the people’s representatives”.
These elected and employed representatives in the
government are doing less to people and more to
themselves, and the general feedback received thus far indicates that the trickling down of monetary grants and services is seldom more than 20 to 30 percent of the intended value.
It is time to give back the Government to be managed by the people by providing them with technological support to monitor what is happening inside their governments.
This feedback and monitoring system is expected to
empower the citizens with information to understand.

Capacity building of our Gram Panchayats
Capacity building of our Gram Panchayats
Capacity building of any institution is crucial to run the house at full potential. There should be economic and social development in any panchayat which will be achieved with effective capacity building of the elected leaders and the institution. Sampoorna Swaraj Foundation is looking at providing solutions in the form
of education, workflow solutions, automation of
processes, and making the system capable of supporting all these functions to achieve a 21st century gram panchayat.
Executing United Nations Sustainable Development Goals in Gram Panchayats
The United Nations Sustainable Development Goals
(UNSDGs) is a set of 17 global goals which is a blueprint
to achieve a better and sustainable future for all. Given
the amount of people living in rural areas, SSF has
identified that the villages of India will play a significant
role in achieving the goals. The potential of our villages
in achieving the goals makes it even more important to
work with them to make this happen. The Organisation
aims to educate our citizens on the goals and targets, and
help them understand the importance of achieving these
goals.
